The stove/burner is awesome!

great power, reliable spark, very light, boils water quickly. Good, lighter alternative to expensive sets with a radiator. I recommend!

Very good purchase

Light and practical.

I am happy to have purchased this product, I was undecided whether to buy the cheapest one given the expense it entails but it was really worth it. At a bivouac with friends it proved to be very useful and resistant to the wind! The refills are also excellent, you can disassemble them during the trek to be able to reassemble them when necessary. Compact, it does not cause any problems in the backpack, easy to use and safe.

Quite a good cooker for a reasonable price

The cooker allows you to boil 1l of water in a steel bottle quite quickly. Several comments indicated that you can't cook on a lower heat, I don't confirm that, it worked in several ranges and didn't go out. Tested in the evening at about -7oC on a standard gas cylinder from Decathlon Coleman 300 and it worked.

Tourist gas burner

I can't imagine a trip to the mountains without this device. Thanks to its small design, I always have it with me in my backpack, so I can prepare something to eat or drink when I want. Tested many times and so far reliable.

Small and very practical

This is my 2nd copy, the 1st having been given to my son for his hikes. I took the same one because it fits easily in my pot, it is quite stable and the integrated piezo works perfectly. It is more than enough and has a good price. Heats up quickly and cools down quite quickly too. You can use it for a lunch break.

Perfect

Perfect for a trek, easily fits in a pocket

It's okay but it's a bit expensive

It is super light, small and easy to store. It does its job but the quality-price ratio is not good, since you cannot trust the piezoelectric ignition, it has failed me. So I recommend that you carry a lighter just in case.

Additional Product Information

Composition

Main part: 100.0% Stainless Steel ; Carry bag: 100.0% Polyethylene ; Complementary parts: 100.0% Polypropylene

Safety

This stove meets standard EN521.It must be used only with butane/propane cartridges compliant with standard EN417.The Decathlon Forclaz cartridges (100g, 230g, 450g) comply with the EN417 standard and are compatible with the Decathlon - Forclaz MT100, MT500 and MT500 Déporté stoves.Read the instructions and precautions for use attached to the stove.

Setting up the stove and connecting a gas cartridge:

To set up a gas cartridge, always do so in a ventilated place, preferably outdoors and never near a flame, heat source, spark, individuals or flammable materials.Check that your stove's gas inlet is properly closed and check the location and condition of the leakproof seal.Make sure that the cartridge is on a stable flat surface. Do not shake.

Setting up the stove and connecting a gas cartridge (continued):

Hold the device and screw in the cartridge by hand by turning it clockwise until it stops, being careful not to damage the screw thread.Follow the same instructions to take off the cartridge. It can be dangerous to use cartridges other than Decathlon - Forclaz. It's normal to hear a small fizzing sound (escaping gas) for less than 2 seconds when connecting the cartridge to the stove.

Weight and dimensions

Stove weight: 85 g Bag weight: 15 gDimensions: Ø 14 x H 9.5 cmFolded dimensions: L 9.5 x H 9.5 cmWeights, volumes & dimensions may vary slightly due to production tolerances.

Ease of use

Pot stand on 3 legs, perfectly adapted to Forclaz Trek 500 stainless steel pans (Ø 13.5 cm).Installation: Place the stove on the cartridge to align the threads. Screw. Assemble the stove on a flat, unobstructed surface. Open the flow control valve, operate the piezo (several times if necessary). Your stove is lit.We recommend you light your stove with a pan in place above the burner.Make sure the assembly is stable.

Heating time

Our internal tests give us values that reflect the actual conditions of use. In fact, we tested our stoves with Trek 500 stainless steel pans, filled with a litre of water.Actual power result: boiling time for 1 L of water: 3 mins 04. Actual power: 2750 watts. Actual consumption: 200 g/hour. The results and performance of different stoves must be analysed in a comparable way (same conditions and parameters).

Heating time (continued)

The heating time of a stove is subject to a mandatory standardised process for EU certification but does not necessarily reflect the actual conditions of use.Standard EN521 parameters (heating rate):Propane gas at 3 bar pressure, without container. Results: 4.1 kW / 292.5 g/hour

Performance and consumption

Many parameters affect the capacity and performance of your stove: atmospheric pressure, wind, damp, etc. and can therefore change the boiling temperature, heating time as well as the number of litres heated with one cartridge. We strongly recommend using a windshield to optimise gas consumption. The performance of a stove is therefore assessed according to the gas consumed / heating speed.

Storage instructions

Avoid contact with moisture. Do not leave in the rain. After use or cleaning, store your stove in a dry place taking care to unscrew the cartridge.
