This is the third rechargeable and dynamo camping light that I have purchased. I bought two three years ago and use them regularly when camping in our camper van. They are brilliant inside and out and can be hung up easily using the fold out hook. I particularly like the option to have a red or white light. The red is useful at night when a more subtle light is less disturbing to other campers. The dynamo function is reassuring should we run out of battery power though this has not yet happened to us as the lamps hold power for hours. The design of this one has changed slightly from the first two. The significant change for us has been that the hanging hook is now metal and not plastic which means that we are more careful when hanging it up inside in case it scratches the interior of the van. I have used this particular lamp for a number of trips over the passed few months but those bought over two years ago are still working as new.
This lamp is great. It's compact, bright and rechargeable! It has a handy hook on the bottom to hang it inside our tent, and if it runs out of juice you can crank it as well.
Battery seems to last a good while and great that's it's rechargeable. There's also a small hook, so you can hang it up in the tent - we use it in the bedroom compartment of the tent. Red light also great for not waking everyone up!
We use this as a nightlight. My 4 year old can turn it on by himself if he needs it in the night. Very handy that you can charge it up with a USB C connection.

It is very nice and the charge lasts well.
It's good but when I tried to charge it with the Samsung 25w USBC fast charger it didn't charge. I tested it and found out after many attempts that it only works with old chargers.
Small but very bright, it will be perfect for a child's tent. Also useful at home in red light for quiet times.

How to use the rechargeable bl60 dynamo lamp
When your lamp has been on for more than 5 seconds, simply press the button to go directly to off mode. To turn the lamp back on and switch modes, press the same button again quickly.
What type of power does the bl60 rechargeable dynamo lamp use?
The battery has a capacity of 750 milliamps.The lamp battery can be recharged using its USB-C port. You can recharge it using: a power socket, car cigarette lighter or any standard USB port (including a solar panel). The USB-C charging cable is sold with the lamp. However, this is not the case with the AC adapter, but you can, for example, use the USB A charger from your smartphone.
How long does it take to charge the bl60 dynamo rechargeable lamp?
It takes 3 hours to fully recharge the battery on a 220V mains plug. A flashing red LED shows when charging starts, while a constant red LED shows when charging ends. For the dynamo system: turn the dynamo one minute for 4 minutes of light. A circuit breaker protects the battery from over-charging.When 15% energy remains, the lamp flashes and reduces to 30 lm.
