Very good product except perhaps for the belt passages which are too narrow to remove the belt when you have to wash the pants for example.
In store, we ask for advice on waterproof pants for hikes of around 3 hours. Indeed no problem in the event of a little drizzle. Today we did a 30 minute hike in heavy rain and the pants are completely waterlogged, the legs are soaked, in short the mission is far from accomplished! The price is therefore far too high for the service provided. We trusted the seller and bought these pants for my wife, my daughter and me...all that remains is to find pants that meet our requirements.

Comfortable and waterproof
I bought these pants for cycling to work with the idea that I wouldn't have to wear rain pants every time it started to rain. These trousers failed the ref test. He is not suitable for that. Soon the water came all the way in. But actually these are hiking pants. It feels nice and warm, the look is beautiful, it fits perfectly. So overall nice trousers. It is only waterproof in light rain. For heavy rain it will be rain pants :)

What is water-repellency and how can you maintain it?
A fabric's water repellent property is its capacity to make water run off its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm and breathable. The water-repellent property is obtained by applying a PFC-free treatment to the outer surface of the fabric. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment's lifespan (recommended after each wash). Products (spray or liquid) for this purpose are available in our stores.
Can i be sure that my trousers are warm enough for hiking in the winter ?
The inside of your trousers is brushed – a tried and tested method for retaining heat. The principle is simple: the component knit is structured to add volume to trap air, which is naturally insulating. It is exactly the same principle as animal fur or feathers.

How do my trousers protect me from outdoor conditions?
In winter, it is important to be protected from both moisture (snow, rain) and wind, because the latter can significantly cool the body, regardless of whether you are physically active or standing still. We designed your trousers with a windproof and water-repellent outer fabric, to cope with all winter conditions. We also added lace attachments to stop snow from getting inside.
How to dress properly for snow hiking?
To dress properly in winter, whatever your activity, we recommend using the 3-layer principle:layer 1: The high-tech base layer transfers moisture away from the body to keep your skin dry.layer 2: The second layer (fleece, sweater) provides warmth and transfers moisture outwards.layer 3: The jacket protects you from the outdoor conditions: rain, snow, wind. The whole outfit must be breathable in order to eliminate moisture.
Will your trousers withstand regular use over the long term?
To ensure the durability of our products, we perform tests on the selected components: resistance to rubbing and abrasion, colour fastness, resistance to repeated washing. All these tests have been conducted on the component of your trousers.
Product testing
We carry out 2 types of thermal testing:- a test of the trousers’ material.- a test on a thermal dummy in a thermal chamber. We reproduce the temperature, wind (3 mph) and humidity conditions that you would encounter in the mountains walking at 3 mph. These tests validate our design choices and we then adapt the thermal insulation where you need it most.
Storage instructions
Store in a dry, dark place.We recommend you avoid using chemicals such as bleach, which could cause deterioration in the garment’s thermal insulation.
