Product Customer Reviews
Very warm socks thanks to the high percentage of Merinos, used for snowshoeing they are perfect
Keep warm without loosening
The sock, which is very well made in terms of mesh and structure, is too short and slips on the calf, bunching up on the ankle and, in fact, being completely unusable. It should be at least 15 cm longer.
In addition, they are very long, reaching to mid-calf. They pill but do not stretch.
They do not fit the foot, they are too loose which makes them uncomfortable.
This is a great support to keep your feet warm and walk comfortably in your boots.
88% merino wool.. That's not all.. Not warm. Why? Very light. Much less thick than it looks in the photos. €25 for 2 pairs. FYI I compared these socks with others that I have had for a long time, "military" socks that I pay €6 per pair for at 67% wool and which are MUCH more effective and much more resistant. Your SH900 sock weighs 64g. The others that are the same size weigh 115g (almost double). We understand better the difference in thermal efficiency. You need to get back to Decathlon..
They slide and turn while walking. The heel comes under the heel of the lied. When you take the shoe off, the sock in. Very disappointed. However, I am used to hiking equipment. and I took 35-38 because I wear 37 and my friend who wears 41 can put them on without any worries....
Use with sandals ....ok
It is very comfortable to wear, has good warmth retention, is reasonably priced, and has a high CP value.
Used for mountain walks, impeccable.
Excellent, they heat but do not burn...a marvel
Everything is perfect
Within normal limits, resistant to everyday use.
Effective in relative cold but insufficient for extreme cold. Used as a first layer of socks. But at -20 degrees two pairs of socks were not enough. Arctic Circle

Additional Product Information
Composition
Socks: 88.0% Wool, 11.0% Polyamide, 1.0% Elastane
The properties of wool
Thanks to its fine structure and irregular, flaky surface, wool can trap air and allow water vapor to escape, giving it exceptional moisture management and thermal regulation properties. Its ability to absorb and release moisture, combined with its buffering effect, makes it an insulating and comfortable material, ideal for hiking socks.
How do i choose the right footwear for snow hiking?
To stay well-equipped in winter, follow these guidelines:- **Warmth:** Opt for socks that provide warmth, ideally with a good percentage of wool.- **Breathability:** Select socks based on the intensity of your hike and ensure they are breathable to minimize moisture.- **Boot Height:** Match the sock height to your boot's upper. For extra protection, choose higher models.
Pack of 2 pairs
This model is sold in packs of 2 pairs of socks, both in the same color.
How to correctly select hiking socks
Thanks to the elastane used in all our socks, they conform to your feet and stay securely in place. Since foot sizes and shapes vary, we recommend trying on socks in-store before purchasing and testing them before heading out on a long hike.
Product testing
All our products undergo field testing by user representatives alongside rigorous laboratory tests. This dual testing process helps us continuously enhance the technical features and design of our QUECHUA products. We also incorporate your regular feedback to further refine our range.
Storage instructions
