Questions & Answers
Look for product information, frequently asked questions, opinions...
Question:
Can I swap these flat handle bars to drop bars? Using a third party brand?
Answer:
For sure you can, but that typically also envolves replacing the shift and brake levers.
Question:
Why didn't decathlon and rear hanger on this bike? If the origional price was indeed 900 dollars a rear hanger couldn't have impacted profit on a sale that drastically.
Answer:
Unfortunately this model was speced without a replacable rear dearaileur hanger. The Cost is driven by the aggregate of the components, in an effort to create the best value this is, unfortunately a production decision, but I have to agree...it would have been nice.

Product Customer Reviews

Being used to straight handlebars I liked this bike. I have not had such a good bike until now and I can only enjoy spending with it.
When I'm a dancer, my knees touch the hanger. And the hanger is not wide enough. Very annoying saddle squeaking, appointment made to correct the problem. Tires misaligned on the rim, impression that the rim is warped.
From good to bad, the main problem is the choice of gear ratio. We are always between 2 the chain often crosses and it is difficult to find the right ratio. It's extremely unpleasant even if the bike is rather of course the rest it makes it practically unusable on big outings. We have to constantly juggle reports without ever finding the right one.
Good value for money. Fairly comfortable bike. Used for short weekend outings of 30-40km. The derailleur could be more precise for the front, but for the price it's ok. What I blame is that I have a very high-pitched noise in the gallows as soon as I'm uphill and I go into a dancer. The noise is really very loud and it makes me a little ashamed. I don't quite understand where this can come from, not being an expert. I hesitate to return it with the 365d guarantee and take a bike from another brand.
Since it wasn't there from the order carried out with the usual professionalism of the clerks to the preparation when it arrived I would say....TOP SERVICE AS ALWAYS
Good light bike just one downside the rear tire is deflated after three uses obviously a fault in the valve...
Very nice bike, only downside, the staff was super friendly, but as soon as I arrived at the checkout I immediately noticed that there was a scratch on the frame, not having time to return it I ended up with a scratch a shame for a new bike
I have been using it for a year, and I am very satisfied with it. The brakes work very well, it has a very good quality-price ratio. For those who travel by bike to work, or make smaller trips (about 100km or less), I recommend it. It is very easy, and it is ideal in a block. One of the disadvantages is that it skids very easily when the road is wet, but because of the light weight it is easier to keep control. Another disadvantage is that the changer sometimes gets stuck, and it is a bit difficult to undo it.
good value for money, it's a real pleasure to ride with and for me who had never had a road bike before, it's a good bike to start with. The only problem, during assembly. I had the mudguards and luggage rack fitted by Decathlon technicians. 5 minutes after leaving, I derailed and I heard the friction of the front fender on the wheel. I went back to the store, the first person told me it was normal and there was nothing they could do about it...a second technician looked into the matter and fixed the rubbing problem. But I continued to derail. I went back to a Decathlon store to have it fixed; and I continued to derail; the settings were still not good. then I called a friend and now this bike is very nice.
After 400 km I validate the bike, only downside the rear brake which has lost power (I will have it checked tomorrow in the store) I use it for velotaf and rides, next objective to do 100 km with it
Super bike to do 25 km every day to go to work very well advised by Romain de Montbéliard
Perfectly meets my expectations
Test over 30 km nothing to complain about the top light and flexible use
I have no knowledge of bicycles. My expertise lies elsewhere. No greenhouse of bicycles eaten here. But it rides great. Bliss even at its best. I have a hobby with it. Have now toured about 300 km in a month.. And the bike pedals, brakes and shifts like new. For me as a novice cyclist this has been an excellent choice. I'm already looking forward to making another trip.
