Do extreme temperatures, like being stored in an attic, effect the texture of the bag or cause it to feel sticky?
Answer:
The prioduct should be stored in dry and moderate temperature. So far, we did not receive such feedbacks regarding any sticky aspect.

Ideal for in-cabin and short trips
Durable for adventure travel. It has no compartments, except two/three small compartments for objects such as keys and small objects. Avoid if you plan to have the backpack on your back for a long time, in that case trekking backpacks are much better.
Nice look and color. Good capacity. I would have appreciated 1 or 2 small zipped pockets.
Roomy, good quality zippers, compression straps could be longer.
Great travel bag, which expands with the souvenirs of the trip. BUT the straps that hold the bag closed are too short when the bag is at its maximum capacity. It's really a shame :(
I used the bag in backpack mode during a motorcycle trip and I really appreciated its behavior, hold, resistance, ergonomics. Likewise during a train trip, practical and still discreet.
Used for safari trip and needed a soft bag to accommodate small plane capacity. I like the expendable function.
If you are looking for the flexibility of traveling with a briefcase backpack, this is an excellent option that allows you to take everything you need with you in the cabin. The materials and the ease of size expansion add many points to it so that if you need to, you can transfer it to checked baggage without worrying about damage given the strength of its manufacture.
Beautiful in real life and very comfortable to use. Maybe too expensive.
Comfortable…practical…spacious
Backpack used to go on safari for 1 week. Bag in the hold on the plane then used every day between lodges and 4x4. Impeccable, super practical. 10/10
indeed it is a real negative point for this bag, it is however practical for a few days in town etc but I do not recommend it for hiking

“extend” system
This duffle bag comes with our “Extend” system so you can vary the bag's volume. It's a system of straps that free up extra space when loosened. Conversely, it also compresses the bag to reduce it to its minimum volume (40 L for this one).
Hand luggage
This bag is accepted as cabin baggage by most airlines. However, we recommend you check the authorized dimensions with your chosen airline.
How is bag volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standard method: we use small balls to fill the main compartment as well as each pocket. We then we empty these balls into a graduated container which gives the equivalent volume in liters.
Technical tests
We complete laboratory tests to certify components: fabrics, buckles, straps, foam, zips... for example, for a fabric: resistance to abrasion and tearing, color-fastness in UV light, resistance to washing, waterproofing, etc.A test is then conducted on the finished product replicating the accelerated demands on the bag over the years to check the strength of the assembly.
