Questions & Answers

Question:

How’s it compared to “shake dry “ from Gorewear? Quality of zipper? Are the wrist bands Velcro? Does it have pockets in back? Will it fit in a jersey pocket? Thanks

Answer:

It is a lightweigh, wind and water resisitant garment. Very good quality, no velocro on the wrist. 1 pocket in the back, and will easily fit in a jersey pocket.

The sizing is race fit so get a size bigger if you want it loose. Yes, it can be folded into the built in pocket. Reverse the pocket and start stuffing the jacket in from the bottom and doing the sleeves last. It takes time (5-10 min). I bought the jacket because I like the color.

I had taken XL…

I had taken XL but it is small. I will offer it to a friend and buy a larger one for myself.

Quite a good product. The sizes do not match, I had to buy an XL for the chest which then turns out to be abundant at the level of the abdomen. Protects from light rain. It is comfortable, allows ample arm movements without the annoying limitation in movement. I bought it for climbing.

meh

Good for cutting the wind or light rain, otherwise in heavy rain, the jacket took on water after 5 minutes, the seam of the sleeves at the cuffs came loose, I'm keeping it as a windbreaker only. Disappointed with this purchase.

Good buy

Already tested in the Alps. small and light when rolled up, fits in the back pocket of a cycling jersey. Size L is perfect for a sporty figure of 176cm/72kg. Size M was a bit too tight in the shoulders and chest. I recommend

Composition

Membrane: 100.0% Polyurethane ; Main fabric: 100.0% Polyamide

Product waterproofing

Waterproofing is a fabric's ability to prevent rain water from passing through. A fabric's waterproofing is determined by measuring its resistance to the pressure exerted by a water column, measured in mm (test based on ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. Material with a waterproof rating of 2000 mm resists the pressure exerted by 2000 mm of water (which roughly corresponds to a 2-hour rain shower). Our Ultralight jacket is waterproof up to 2000 mm.

Breathability

To determine whether a fabric is breathable, we measure its evaporative resistance (test based on standard ISO 11092). The lower its resistance, the more the fabric will let water vapor produced by the body escape, and therefore the more breathable it is. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable materialThe RET of our Ultralight showerproof jacket is 6.

Product tests

Our team of product designers is based at the B'Twin Village in Lille (France). All year round, we conceive and develop new products that are easy to use, look great, and have the technical features needed for your cycling experiences. They are then mercilessly put to the test by users in the field, as we are convinced that only by subjecting our products to real-world conditions, such as the ones you will experience on your bike, can we continuously improve them.

Care tips

Hand wash only. Turn the article inside out. Use a minimal amount of laundry detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Line dry in a warm, ventilated area. Do not tumble dry. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Do not place on a heater to dry.
