Product Customer Reviews
Overall a decent product. The big downside is the elastic at the waist is too thin and rolls up under the belly and becomes annoying.
Always out of stock, no way to repurchase
But it’s always out of stock and there’s no way to repurchase it.
scratch, for merino wool it shouldn't...
Suitable for sport and everyday life
Boxer shorts bought to limit washing and odors when trekking. Works pretty well. But holes appeared in the crotch after only a few weeks of use... the fabric is not even lined. For €22 for boxer shorts, I am disappointed.
After trying many boxers, I have been wearing these boxers almost daily for almost 2 years now. Light, breathable and a great fit. Sports, walking, normal daily use, great in all circumstances. A disadvantage, however, is that they wear out relatively quickly with frequent use, the material becomes thin very quickly at your crotch with holes as a result. For what they cost, you expect better quality. There could also be more colors besides the current black and green.
Bought just 1 year ago and worn fairly regularly but with other boxers, the 2 Forclaz merino boxers are already showing signs of wear at the crotch. The merino wool is becoming finer and slightly transparent. We can expect this type of deterioration in the long term, but barely 1 year later and given the price (more than €20 / boxer), I am very disappointed. We then try to highlight environmental issues and the sustainable design of many products... What a shame, it strongly resembles planned obsolescence! I do not recommend.
I used two boxers for a 4-week trek (!) in Norway and Sweden this summer, I was a little worried about hygiene before leaving but everything went well! I changed my boxers every day and let them air out overnight, or rinsed them when possible (boxers dry quickly!), and I never felt like I was putting on dirty clothes: merino works well. In summer I usually have problems with my groin because of sweat, but no problem this year even though we had hot days! On my first tests at the beginning of July I was a little worried about comfort with the elastic which tended to imprint itself in the hip, but it was mainly due to a backpack adjustment: no problem on this side during the trek! I didn't feel like I needed the superior model which seems to have some durability issues. These two boxers are ready to go again despite intensive use!
We are always satisfied.
The best, natural comfort.
It's just great
I bought these boxers to do the 7-day Tour du Mont Blanc, and I am really impressed with the quality. From the first use, I felt exceptionally comfortable. The merino wool is soft and pleasant on the skin, providing just the right amount of warmth without being too hot. It keeps you warm in the morning while remaining breathable and lightweight during the warmer day. The fit is ideal, with a waistband that stays in place without compressing. In addition, the fabric is extremely durable and odor resistant, making it perfect for sports activities as well as for everyday use. I am also delighted with the ergonomic cut which ensures great freedom of movement, essential for sports or simply for optimal comfort throughout the day. The quality of manufacture is clearly there. I highly recommend these boxers to anyone looking for high-quality underwear that combines comfort and performance.
Very good purchase just too short in the thighs, 5cm longer and it would have been the best. Come on a little effort and we will have some things at 6 stars
Very good Merino boxers. A greater amount of synthetics wicks away moisture better, they dry faster, but they are not as soft as twice the price of the competition. I am personally very happy with the boxers and will be buying more.

Additional Product Information
Composition
Main fabric: 86.0% Wool, 4.0% Elastane, 10.0% Polyamide
Sizing and fit
These boxers have a fitted cut for enhanced moisture transfer to the outside of the fabric.
How have we enhanced the durability of our boxers made with merino wool?
We have used a BETA-SPUN yarn structure in which the polyamide threads coat the Merino wool fibres and protect them from rubbing and breaking without affecting their properties.
Tip before use
To make the component feel softer, don't hesitate to wash your boxers before first use.
How to wash your merino wool boxers
We recommend that you machine wash your Trek 500 Merino boxers at 30°C on a normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent. Dry flat and NEVER tumble dry unless you want it to shrink by one or two sizes! For more information: https://support.decathlon.co.uk/how-to-maintain-a-merino-wool-garment
Product testing
These boxers have been tested and validated in the field in real-life conditions. They were worn for 5 weeks in spring 2019 by several people who went trekking in the Canary Islands for 2 weeks, followed by 3 weeks on the GR10 route in the Pyrenees.
