After 3 outings lasting more than 2 hours, this is the first time in my life that I have had shorts that irritate my crotch like that after 30 minutes on each outing. After comparison with my other shorts, the chamois is raised by a good millimeter while on the others it is confused with the rest of the shorts. Really very disappointed, I will buy more Van Rysel bib shorts. Otherwise the cut is good like the material.

Aesthetically it is a beautiful product. The seat is good. But be careful with widely spaced seams. Concerning me only 30 minutes of use and irritations on the inside of the thighs. And indeed small size.

Great for long trips.
Better than the racer 2 in terms of cut, the thigh length is longer which is better, but the tendency to ride up is still present because the support bands have not been revised, which makes it not very pleasant on long outings... it's a shame because the diaper is of good quality.
This shorts is amazing for the price I got. Fits really well and the chamois is also good. Hoping it stays the same unlike the other lower end bib shorts from van rysel
I have made three outings with it and in all of them I have found it extremely uncomfortable. The leg warmers have little silicone insert, so having hair on the legs ends up rising and causing wrinkles. These wrinkles caused friction, with subsequent irritation in my crotch. Furthermore, due to the structure of the pad, the gap between the pads creates a crease that gets between my buttocks. The only good thing to highlight about the shorts is that the padding of the padding is excellent and that the straps are very firm.
Skinny at a high range, the skin does not cushion like other Van Rysel bib shorts. Lateral irritability of the crotch appears more quickly

Very good product with very good value for money
I just returned the item, I give it like 5 stars because I was always happy with the RACER set of shorts (I always had the size M), but this latest model (the RACER 3) is a strange size why me . According to the size calculator on the site I need an L, but they are too wide at the bottom of the thighs and they ride up, and the M I can't even put it on because it's too tight... I have to so move towards other brands, too bad.
Comfort is quite good but the silicone thigh tightening is not sufficient and tends to rise as you go out. Less annoying but still not normal, the VAN RYSEL sticker text on the side was already coming off after only 2 outings... I'm going to have to tear it all off soon so it doesn't look like nothing...

New racer 2.5 hd pad
This pad is classed as a Performance Elastic Interfafce® pad. It's the follow-on from the Racer 2, offering a more anatomic fit and improved protection for your entire undercarriage. We have applied very high-density foam under the top layer for maximum effectiveness on long-distance rides, guaranteeing comfort levels that last for up to 7 hours in the saddle.
Care tips
