Cycling shorts with a really great seat pad that provides good support even on long tours. However, the size (I usually wear size 48, jeans 32/32) is not really realistic. I decided on L, but XL would also work. The elastic bands around the legs are very tight at the bottom and the shorts also feel short at the top. But for what they are supposed to do, namely support the seat on a racing bike saddle: very good!

Used for cycling, I like the fact that it has pockets for the phone. Use without underwear to avoid irritation due to friction. Used as part of a multisport RAID and I wasn't bothered by running and canoeing: perfect.

Good product with good foam
This is a very good pair of cycling shorts. The best one decathlon has. Padding is made of foam, so slightly less cushioning than gel pads. Side pockets are a necessary feature. Buy one size larger than usual. A little pricey. Good for 3-4 hour rides.

Very disappointed for a product of this price. Super comfortable shorts, except that they don't hold everything: they slide forward systematically whatever you do, short or long outing. It's worse when it moves (d+ and descents). As a result, the upper buttocks are no longer protected. In short, it's crazy.

New anatomical pad
The RC500 cycling shorts come with a new Inchanatomical Inch chamois pad. The central seam lets the pad fold. This construction technology ensures the perfect fit and stability in the saddle. It has been designed for the male anatomy and, thanks to its stretchy layers, it follows the body fts movements as you ride.
Van rysel endurance pad
The chamois pad is made from a unique combination of materials offering the type of protection needed on your long rides. The pad has a protective, high-density, 120 kg/m3 foam insert under the sit bones and the entire undercarriage. The top layer of fabric, which is in direct contact with the skin, is made from elastane and brushed polyester threads to prevent rubbing and irritation. All of the layers are breathable and wick perspiration.
Care tips
Machine wash at 30°C. Synthetic programme. Turn the garment inside out. Use minimal laundry detergent. Do not add softener. Line dry in a warm, ventilated area. Do not tumble dry.Do not dry clean. Do not bleach. Do not place on a heater to dry.
