Used in bikepacking (road and mountain biking), I highly recommend! Waterproofing, capacity, solidity, daily use, design... everything is perfect, even the price is unbeatable!
It works VERY well even without riding a bike to use it as a day bag while traveling (I added a strap) wonderful for Monzón beach or whatever and without little exterior pockets from which things can be "lost", and it is incredibly easy after fastening, thanks to the straps in the middle, to the compression straps of the backpack to turn them into a single package. I loved it, and I love that it is so extremely flexible in size and the double access to keep the straps centered I already bought repe in case they discontinued it.
When you know what you want, you buy it at an affordable price, top waterproofing for trips of 3 to 10 days, really essential
Does the job for capacity and watertightness, at a good price, but surprisingly missing is the vacuum valve which exists on the same product dedicated to the saddle bag. As a result, on a road or gravel handlebar, it is extremely difficult, even with a reasonable load inside, to roll and compress the whole thing so that it fits between the two hoods without hindering braking and changing gears. So I recommend this product, but more for MTB use with a straight handlebar.
Excellent product. Good sealing. Please note that with a 42cm Gravel/Route handlebar, you can only use half of the capacity, but this is not the fault of the product.
Great pouch even without support. I was rather fooled during the purchase, you need support with it. I fix it without and it's great. Very good capacity and tightness. tested on a bikepaking trip.
Always this same question: you claim to test your pdts for months, or even more and yet, no vacuum valve like for the saddle bag...??? A big black spot. Otherwise, good product, good Q/P ratio.
Absolute recommendation
Very good package, easy to use and seems very solid (and of course waterproof)
The bag worked perfectly during the trip. Solidly made and quite roomy depending on the packaging method. With a "lamb" steering wheel, the capacity is somewhat limited and it is worth remembering this to avoid collisions with the door handles. But on a straight handlebar, there's actually nothing limiting our width. The only minus is the lack of a valve that would allow additional airing and compressing the bag.
I bought 2, one to attach to the handlebars, one to the luggage rack. It is very solid, waterproof, practical to use, and the eyelets can be useful. It's probably not the lightest, but that's the price of strength.
I purchased this bag to use on my rear rack (not its intended use) for day trips to hold my lunch, flask, skyline chair, waterproofs and an extra layer it serves this purpose better than a trunk bag because its extendable, waterproof and easily strapped to the rack however it could really do with an air valve to let air out as it inflates when rolling so unless you have three arms one to squash the air out and the other two to roll it down and buckle its like a balloon!, ive taken to using my forearm leant across while rolling (not so easy) to get some extra air out. another improvement would be to have the the mollie style webbing down the other side this way you could lace bungee cord to attach gear to the outer I did assume it had this from the pictures. I also think the metal buckle should be replaced with plastic, metal parts on bike bags not such a good idea when the could come into contact with bike paintwork they do look premium tho this has to be said. as a whole and for what I bought it for its very good the material used seems very durable and abrasion resistant, I would recommend just a few things stop it from being excellent
After 10 days of bike packing the volume is great but the fact that we can't compress it is a big problem… too bad it didn't have a valve like on the riverside saddle cover model
I can't use all the capacity due to the shape of the handlebar and the distance between its ends
