Effective

Meets expectations and was a perfect companion on the GR20. Warm, breathable, compact on the bag, easy to store.

Ideal duvet

Perfect duvet for treks in slightly cooler seasons or in the mountains. Light and compact. Best value for money. I tested it during nights around 0•C: RAS! The investment is worth it

3rd best sleeping bag

My daughter being at the limit of child size we took the size S and we are not disappointed it has a cost but in the trekking bag a saving of space!!! like for us and she sleeps warm under the stars the ideal

Good down sleeping bag, but never for 0 degrees

I was just in Norway with my sleeping bag. At night the temperature was always around 10 degrees. Despite high-quality thermal underwear, I was always cold rather than warm and I am actually always warm

dose what it says in description

Good warm sleeping bag

A good product

This duvet meets all the features I needed. It is easy to carry, lightweight and keeps you warm. I recommend this product for people bivouacking.

Good product but small sewing problem

The stitching has come apart at the feet and the feathers are starting to come out after less than 15 uses.

Comfortable and lightweight sleeping bag

I have been using this sleeping bag for 3 years, I am completely satisfied with it, it is light and easy to carry and very comfortable when it is unfolded and well "inflated".

mixed reviews

after 4 days on the GR20 (Corsica) and 4 days on the GR 70 (Le Puy en Velay) feathers are starting to come out...moreover on the GR 70 despite a tent and a high-performance Decathlon mattress, I was cold all 3 nights. So I'm wondering...; I went to present the problem in store and they told me that the feathers were normal and regarding the cold I should try again this winter...

Duvet not warm enough

The duvet is rated comfort for 0 degrees, I tested it in the mountains between 5 and 10 degrees and I didn't sleep because I was so cold, second try at 15 degrees more humid and the same. Considering the price I regret my purchase. I do not recommend it at all.

Comfortable and compact sleeping bag

This sleeping bag is very comfortable and packs down small when stored in its pocket. I slept in it in a tent at 8 degrees and I wasn't cold.

Much too cold!!!!!!

I bought the sleeping bag for the transitional period. I spent two nights in the tent and was half frozen at 4° Celsius!!!!! The filling is also distributed quite oddly.

What is the temperature rating?

All our sleeping bags display the temperature ratings, tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX), in accordance with the European standard NF ISO 23537 - 1:2022. The comfort temperature rating is the lower limit at which the user in relaxed posture is generally in thermal equilibrium and feels neither too cold nor too hot (for a standard woman in normal conditions of use). Choose your sleeping bag according to this criterion.

What is the temperature rating (lower limit at which you feel comfortable)?

The comfort limit temperature is the temperature limit at which a person curled up in the sleeping bag is in general thermal equilibrium, neither too cold nor too hot (determined for a man in normal conditions of use).We recommend using an insulation mattress to optimise your thermal comfort.

An important clarification concerning the iso 23537-1 standard

In the context of this standard, the measurement protocol of a sleeping bag’s thermal protection uses a mattress with thermal resistance equal to an R-value of 4.8.This means that by using a less insulating mattress, the thermal performance of your sleeping bag will be lower. We therefore recommend you use an insulating mattress to optimise your thermal comfort.

Some advice to consider before you get into your bag

Dress simply (1 layer of clothing is enough). Warm-up your extremities: hats, gloves, socks, hand/feet warmers, rubdowns, etc. A flask of hot water can be used as a hot water bottle (as long as there's no chance of it accidentally opening!) Contract your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is converted into heat) but don't make any movements that cause cold draughts.Use a bag liner to optimise warmth and avoid washing your sleeping bag too frequently.

Style

The mummy shape optimises thermal insulation (no loss of heat because there is not much air flow or draughts) and saves space, which means that your movements are restricted.Width at the shoulders 28.3 Inch (72 cm), height at the feet 10.2 Inch (26 cm) in size L.

Anatomical hood with good coverage and drawstring adjustment.A baffle along the zip prevents heat loss.Double-slider zips for optimal ventilation.Brick baffle construction to reduce thermal bridges.

The advantages of a duck down and feather filling

The filling power of down has 3 advantages for mountain sports: - Thermal insulation thanks to the air trapped in the down and feathers- Ultra low weight: down is lighter than synthetic wadding while offering the same degree of warmth. This saves even more weight in your backpack- Ultra-compressible.

How to measure the fill power of a down and feather wadding?

The fill power is a measure of the down fts thermal insulation capacity and its potential to Inchtrap Inch air. It is expressed in CUIN (cubic inches). So, down with a higher fill power (higher CUIN number) will occupy more space, trap more air and provide greater thermal insulation. For this sleeping bag with its 90% down / 10% feathers filling, the fill power is guaranteed to be 800 CUIN or more (international IDFB standard).

Storage instructions

To maintain its fill power, which is necessary for its insulation properties, store your sleeping bag by stuffing it in the mesh bag provided, feet first. Can be stored flat.
