Unintuitive transactional site and frequent errors on the site encouraging people not to buy and look elsewhere: it took me several attempts to create an account, then a password and to top it off at the time of payment the site refused my contact details. credit cards, claiming that they were invalid! But hey, lucky for you that my partner absolutely wanted your tent. Better to laugh about it!🤪. The most surprising thing is that your site favored English by default and was difficult to change the language once on the site. Which seems strange to me for a company that calls itself French.

Awesome tent!!!

This is one of my favorite tents hands down!!! It's a easy setup roomy and excellent quality!!!

Very good tent. Practical,…

Very good tent. Practical, spacious, dark enough to sleep better

Claustrophobic Warning

Very quick tent to set up and store! On the other hand, the tent is relatively low and if you inflate a thick enough mattress, you will be close to the “ceiling” so be careful if you are claustrophobic. I wasn't and found myself having anxiety attacks in the middle of the night.

Neat tent, but time save is marginal

I wanted to use the tent a few times since I got it before I wrote a review, we've been out with it 5 times now. tldr: Set up is marginally faster than a regular tent, it's small inside, awkward to fit into the car, has mediocre ventilation, poor entrance design for wet conditions, awesome blackout fabric, putting away the tent is a pain. Set up is indeed fast, but after staking down the tent, the time you save is marginal over a traditional pole-supported dome tent. The blackout fabric is the best feature, headlights from cars arriving at the campgrounds barely make it through, and sleeping through the night is fairly easy because of that. The tent is really more of a cave, I can barely sit up inside without my head touching the top. The bathtub floor at the entrance of the tent has no way to remain rigid and upright, when it's dry we've been supporting it with our shoes and some bags on the inside of the tent. But, when it's dry that's also when having an upright tub is the least important. When it's rainy, I live in a rain forest, water drips from the awning onto the bathtub floor which is laying now inside the tent, placing shoes or bags there would have the bags collecting rainwater. Our camp mattress sucks up a lot of water coming in from the front. The rain fly zipper is really, really tough to pull and very loud. Not a big problem but it does feel bad to create so much noise when leaving the tent to go to the restroom at night or when waking up. The tent doesn't stay as cool as I would have expected from the blackout fabric, The side vents could be a bit larger, and maybe some kind of top vent (which is hard for this design) to allow heated air to escape. Collapsing the tent is a considerable pain, and it takes less time to put away our Arpenaz 4.1 Tent. The amount of force necessary to bend the tent back into its smallest circle is more than my partner can muster and still quite a bit for myself. It barely fits back into the bag as well. There is a constant feeling of doing something wrong with this tent when putting it away, but there is really only one way to go about it. This amount of force needed to collapse does give me worries about the longevity of the tent as well. The waterproofing is good, it's rained on us several times and the only water ingress has been from the front of the tent. A small tent in the rain isn't very fun though, as you don't have a lot of room to do things inside. There was a bit of condensation build-up on the inside, but no more than expected. The only other thing I'd mention is that finding a good place in the car with the tent folded up is difficult. A regular tube-shaped, rolled-up tent is much easier to fit into the camping Jenga that is most of our vehicles. Personally, I'd recommend a more traditional tent like the Quechua MH100 XL F&B or Forclaz MT500 F&B. I can only recommend this tent to people going to music festivals, or camping is dry and cool climates.

extraordinary tent

By far the most comfortable tent, cool at all times, easy to set up/take down, I take it everywhere with me! THANK YOU Decathlon 😍

Best tent ever!

Just perfect, even in broad daylight, hardly any light inside, I've never slept so long in a tent in the morning. I did not test the waterproofness (rain) since the weather was nice all the time (you better!).

Super easy to assemble!

Very easy to assemble and disassemble. Favorite for the black interior which allows you to sleep in the morning without getting too hot.

Solid construction and easy setup

Seems of great quality and construction, a bit confusing to fold up, but with patience and practice it gets easier.

Humidity !!

Hello, I am very disappointed with this tent. Here are the weak points: it is difficult to sit in this tent without touching the ceiling because it is too low. I woke up with wet feet and wet pillow, and yet the rain was light! Despite openings for ventilation, the mesh is so fine that it lets very little wind through and does not ventilate very well. So the humidity stays inside. This is the main flaw. I tried to get a refund but the lady refused claiming that it had been used! I actually used it for two nights!!

Great Car Camping Tent, fast set up.

This is the ideal tent for car camping. I've owned two other tents by the C..... Company. With both tents, the wands that make up the tent poles broke. The Decathlon tent is constructed well with many details that I didn't expect with this tent. The black interior is excellent for allowing sleep after the sun comes up. The almost the entire black interior is a mesh that allows air circulation. The floor is a plasticized material, only time will tell how this holds up. There are pockets at two corners of the tent. The vent windows are a nice addition. Many people here complain that the tent is hard to put back in it's circular storage bag. Folding up the tent isn't intuitive. It's a little harder to fold this tent than the C brand, but once you get the hang of it, it's not a problem. There are good pictorial directions on the tent bag. First pull the inside of the tent to the front and connect two orange buckles to each other. Then connect the two yellow buckles. Secondly, pull the orange tightening strap that would be in the middle of the tent circle. This collapses the tent into a figure 8 shape. The next part is the tricky part. Third, take one half of the figure 8 and fold it over on the other half. Take the restraining strap and fasten it around the tent so it won't spring open. When you have the figure 8 shape, it seems like if you fold it over on itself to make a circle again, that you will be putting too much force on the wands and it would probably break. However, the tent wand, or poles can rotate a little and move so that a circle can be made without breaking the tent. With my experience with broken wands in the C brand tent, I was hesitant to fold the 8 over, but don't be shy. The tent was designed to work like this. One end of the tent is higher than the other end. If you are sleeping on the low side, an adult won't be able to sit up. Three people would be tight in this tent, but possible. It's ideal for two people and some gear. I've only used the tent a couple times at this point. Reviewing this tent after one year would give a better indication of how tough this tent is and how it stands up to rain. If the wands can hold up to repeated flexing, the tent should be a great option. I am a serious outdoors adventure person. (rock climber, mountaineer, cave explorer, raft guide) I sleep in a tent many nights during each year. I own tents for winter expeditions, lightweight tents for backpacking, big family tents for group camping and this tent for camping near a car. Ironically, this is the tent that I will use the most. Suggestions: 1. Make camo pattern tent like this. It would be better to blend in with the environment. 2. Please sell a tent footprint or under tarp cut to the shape of this tent. 3. Make a video showing how to pack the tent up and include a link to that video with every tent.

awesome tent

People are always curious when I show up with this tent! Very easy to set up and I don't have any problems taking it down though that is the more tricky part - I've gotten used to it. I'm 2.5 years into this tent now. It has kept me bone dry while everyone else was running for their cars. Serious storms... really.... on the beach on Lake Superior. Water was coming up around us! Two nights of frightening sideways rain, terrible wind, crashing waves, but not a drop of water in this tent. The only things I did as buy some more substantial stakes. Floor is quality, no issues. Love the drawstring to pull up the back for extra ventilation. Have my wishlist - wish the there was more of a vestibule (can only fit shoes in it), wish there was a back door, wish it was a little taller (with an air mattress, feel a bit close to the ceiling). Dark and cooler. Have used it in cold 32 degree weather, did ok with a good sleeping bag. You will have to set an alarm to wake up or you won't know the sun is up!

Poor quality

I used once packed it but the next time when I opened the wires were broken Wasn’t expecting such a poor quality product at $150

Perfect small tent !

Once you get the trick to close it back this tent is a great time saver !!! The clips are color coded so you match the colors following the order in the instructions. Practise at home a few times, watch online videos ! Very dark inside which is great ! Also, it keeps the inside cooler. Not alot of large window openings like other tents but air flows surprisingly well ! It rained heavily and no rain came in ! Make sure to close the window flaps from the outside if rain is expected ! Bought the one for 3 and have room for 2 plus some space on each side for a duffle bag type luggage.

Ventilation

Flysheet with 2 side panels that can be extended and fixed with side guy ropes (opening from the inside). The air can circulate in the sleeping area. The entire rear sleeping area flysheet can also be lifted from the inside by pulling on a rope. 2 spaces between the flysheet and the ground on each side in the middle of the sleeping area to allow the air to be refreshed and limit as much as possible the natural phenomenon of condensation. Protection from the sun

The Ti0²-coated fabric is SPF 50+. Please note: a large amount of UV radiation can enter through a single open door. Protect your skin with sunscreen.

(Polyester 2000 mm PU-coated flysheet, polyethylene groundsheet 4.2 oz/sqm, all seams sealed with heat-bonded strips).
