does not fit the X500 Kayak

The cover doesn't fit the X500 kayak. It can only be fixed with a lot of tension. The S/M is also cut too tight. Will be returned.

Works as expected

I haven't used it on the water yet, but it fits like a glove and seems unlikely to slip off if it's properly under the rim. Glad I bought this one rather than a generic spray skirt.

Very comfortable

Trying on long outings of 3, 4 hours I am very satisfied

neoprene too thin, very…

neoprene too thin, very flexible but not strong enough, does not stay fixed around the coaming for more than a few minutes bought a few months ago, I have actually never managed to use it for an outing with any of the sea kayaks used at the club, whether for training or cruising on paper it is not expensive, but for a product that is unused because it is unusable, it remains unsatisfactory value for money

It worked

On November 4, 2023, I used this apron for the first time. Unfortunately, after swimming 3 km to the Biebrza River, I had to get out of the kayak. I didn't feel like my legs were going numb and when I tried to get out of the kayak, I fell into the water with my butt. I got wet up to my waist. I decided to swim further, even though I was wet along with my apron. I swam another 18.5 km. The apron, although wet, effectively insulated the wet part of the body, I was not cold, and it was 8 degrees outside. I recommend!

Good skirt at an unbeatable price

I use it on a jiloire small/medium 79x46cm rigid kayak (jumper) and it fits perfectly. Quite waterproof and holds well to the coaming even after skimming

Neoprene skirt

It fits very well to the body and can be placed very easily, but it sometimes comes loose from the edge of the bathtub. You have to adjust it well.

Product sizing

Purchased to fit a 85cm canopy. Size is stated as 82cm-92cm compatible and marked as L/XL size but clearly is small. Attempted to fit to my kayak (85cm) and just pings straight off as clearly too small for that size. Assume its just manufacturing process error, if it is then the QA process needs reviewing. I use Itiwit products and not had this before.

Totally bad construction

In my opinion, unfortunately, the construction is completely wrong, as the fixing rubber ring is sewn around the elastic neoprene material with normal thread. During the first test, when I stretched the rubber on the inner edge of the kayak, the rubber immediately broke off from the neoprene material in 8 places, because the normal thread broke due to the tension. I do not recommend it for purchase. (The staff of Decathlon handled the case correctly, I got the full price back.)

Poor quality

After 3 hours of kayaking, the perimeter rubber evaporated in 3 places - total length 18 cm. I did it myself - replacing it probably wouldn't solve anything. Low-quality execution spoils the impression of an otherwise good product 😕

Just put it in…

Just put the elastic in place by passing it correctly under the coaming for a good hold, otherwise the coaming of the Strentfit X500 fits perfectly

Very well suited to the coaming of the itiwit 500

If I had seen the skirt in a store, I probably wouldn't have bought it. I found it really very fine compared to branded skirts. nevertheless for the coamings of the inflatable they adjust really very well, and easily, The elastic to the appropriate size. To be seen over time. (Since I bought one, I will post an opinion on the second one in 6 months. There will be no wear like on a rigid kayak, so I am quite confident, and I kept the 2 skirts. The skirt holds up well in the waves. In my opinion not to be used on a fiber kayak (but I didn't buy it for that. I therefore recommend for use only on the itiwit 500

New Decathlon kayak skirt

I have just received this skirt and on first use it does not fit on my island which is however in the recommended dimensions 49 wide and 83 long. The back part holds but each time the front and sides give way because the product is not wide enough. I tried several times even by stretching the product but it doesn't hold at all. So I'm wondering if there is a manufacturing defect on my product or if all the skirts are made the same way and have the same problem? Otherwise apart from that the neoprene is very stretchy and comfortable at the level of the chimney it's the same it adapts very well Too bad it doesn't work on my island If I can get an opinion from the Decathlon designers it would be good for see if there is really a problem with this item or if all the skirts are made in the same way For your information not stretched and placed on a table the skirt is 66 long by 42 wide
