WORKS
This jersey is super beautiful and practical but unfortunately it came out with lots of gray/black stains from the washing machine. I already had this same problem last year with the smaller size but I thought it was a manufacturing defect. Really a shame because I have another jersey from a different brand and I don't have this problem.
Our son actually wears size 80 at the age of 16 months. We bought the size for 2-3 years so that it would fit again next year. Unfortunately, the shirt is so small that it fits perfectly now, but definitely won't next year. Not tested according to UV Standard 801, so no 5 stars for UV protection.
My child is 16 months old and the fabric is tightly woven and the size is too small for 18 months, but the price-performance ratio is still great and durable!
For pool/beach
Great product for my daughter who is allergic to the sun. It fits perfectly, it doesn't sweat, you don't have to worry about forgetting to lubricate it. Great product and looks good

Great idea for this jersey. Zero sunburn and very comfortable to wear. This is the 2nd one I bought for my daughter. I rinse it with water after swimming to prevent chlorine from damaging it. In 2 years no problems.

Baby's skin is very sensitive to the sun, because infants' defence systems only become effective after the age of 3. For identical exposure, the effects of the sun are 2 to 3 times stronger on a child than on an adult. It is therefore important to protect them effectively.
Behaviour in the sun?
Although this UV-protection T-shirt provides protection from the sun, other factors such as reflections (from water, sand, etc.), heat, time of day, and so on, must be taken into account. Wearing this T-shirt does not exempt the wearer from following the relevant advice: wear sunglasses, regularly apply suitable sun cream, wear a hat, stay hydrated, etc.
What does upf 50+ mean?
UPF is a sun protection factor (Ultra Violet Protection Factor) and is standardised worldwide. It defines the protection level of a fabric and more precisely the proportion of UV rays it lets through. To meet the standards, it must block at least 95% of UV rays. UPF 50+ means that the fabric blocks at least 95% of UVA and 98% of UVB rays.
