Item meets my expectations
Irritations around the neck and shoulder plate Difficulty putting on and especially taking off The next purchase will be from a Billabong surf specialist, oxbow quicksilver........
I swam this winter in the ocean at a minimum temperature of 12 degrees, Entering the water without feeling cold good freedom of movement in the waves as well as for swimming certainly quite heavy suit but it is not a triathlon suit either ... Very good value for money
Comfortable and easy to put on. And does the job even in 11 degree water!
I've been using it for two months, sea at 14°C, mainly for paddle boarding in cool weather. I also did windsurfing initiation, nickel with a sea at 20°c. The only downside is when you have to crawl on the board, but I made it clear for my use. In the summer I use a sleeveless one. I bought this product for the thermal resistance and I'm happy with it.

Shop staff very helpful
The use of the suit has been from January to May, in 3/4 weekly sessions of surfing, SUP and bodyboarding. Overall I'm very happy with its performance, despite being a low-cost, back-zip suit, it's quite warm and comfortable. Also, although it does not have any special inner layer, drying is quite fast. As aspects to improve, I find the suit a bit heavy and less elastic than other mid-range models from previous years. Personally I prefer the pocket for the car key on the outside (on the leg or so) the internal pocket forces you to remove half a suit before having the towel in hand, and in winter it is not pleasant. It is a very effective suit at a very reasonable price, a recommended purchase

How to choose the right wetsuit (part 1)
The 1st selection criterion when choosing a surfing wetsuit is the water temperature. Water temperature varies according to the location and the time of the year. Systematically make sure that the water temperature at your spot corresponds to the recommended temperature range: Warm water above 68°F. Temperate water between 63 and 72°F. Cold water between 54 and 63°F. Very cold water between 45 and 54°F. Visit the site seatemperature.org to find out the temperature of your spot.
How to choose the right wetsuit (part 2)
The 2nd criterion to take into account is the length of your sessions. If your sessions last less than an hour, the 100 models will be suitable. For up to 2 hours, opt for the 500 models, and for up to 3 hours, the 900 models. Compared to the 100 models, the 500 models will be warmer (and more watertight) and more efficient at reducing fatigue (more freedom of movement) and irritation. The same is true for the 900 models compared with the 500 models.NB: the 900 models are easier to put on.
Choose the right size
To make the most of the features of your wetsuit, it is necessary to choose the correct size. A surfing wetsuit should be a very tight fit and there should be no visible folds. When dry, it is perfectly normal to feel like it is too tight, this discomfort disappears as soon as the wetsuit gets wet. If you choose a wetsuit that is too big, folds will appear, you will experience irritation and thermal comfort will be reduced (letting in water).Try it on before you buy it!
Materials
This OLAIAN 500 4/3 wetsuit is made from genuine neoprene for guaranteed improved comfort during use.The neoprene is lined with synthetic fabric for added resistance to wear.Neoprene thickness: 4 mm and 3 mm.The neoprene is made from an elastomer foam with insulating properties.We test and guarantee the quality of our neoprene materials.
Neck
The neck finish has been developed to limit irritation. According to the sensitivity of the wearer, a UV top can be worn under the wetsuit to reduce the risk of irritation. The application of grease (e.g. Vaseline) in friction areas (neck, underarms) is also recommended if wearing the wetsuit for long periods. Make sure the flap is always inside the wetsuit to limit the risk of irritation with the zipper and the neck.
Fastening
Our zippers and fastenings are laboratory-tested in order to ensure an optimal lifespan and good resistance to salt water. We have put the zipper at the back of the wetsuit for more comfort during surf sports (when lying down to paddle).
Watertight assembly
The seams are stitched and glued for a watertight seal and durability. The seams are blind-stitched, which means the thread does not pass through the entire thickness of the neoprene and so prevents water from getting through. The absence of threads on the inside avoids irritation and chafing. Patches for comfort and reinforcement are strategically placed on the inside in sensitive areas.

There is a key pocket under the zipper flap.
Anti-chafing design
We designed this product with seamless panels under the arms to limit irritation due to the repetitive paddling movements associated with surf sports.

Developed and tested by our design teams in Hendaye, France. The components used for this product are laboratory-tested to ensure the best possible quality and durability.
Storage instructions
In a dry, ventilated place. Avoid heat sources. To extend the life of your wetsuit, do not leave it out to dry in direct sunlight. Machine washing is not recommended.
