Very good
I recently purchased the Men's Anti-UV Hat in Khaki from Decathlon, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This hat has been my go-to companion during hikes at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and Chestnut Nature Park, providing exceptional coverage and protection from the sun's rays. Its lightweight design makes it comfortable to wear for long periods, even during my pilgrimage to Madinah and Mecca. I highly recommend this hat to anyone looking for reliable sun protection without sacrificing comfort.
Good hat, but can't control sweating

I used this hat to work outdoors in the heatwave. The visor loses its shape very quickly and the very thin fabric does not keep the shape in the photos either. The fabric is thin and sturdy. The protection is good and the breathability too. However, I only take it out when I don't have any other hats because I look like nothing with it 🥲 The string to possibly tighten under the neck helped me a lot with the wind but the visor twists when it blows. Maybe a stiffer fabric or a thicker visor would improve the product...
the lace falls on the ears so it is annoying.
Comfortable, airy, compact, unfortunately, after folding for a long time, the brim of the hat deforms and it is difficult to return it to its original shape

What criteria must a cap meet in order to qualify as ”uv-protective”?
UV protection standards for hats are very specific: The fabric must of course be anti-UV (UPF index greater than 50), but this is not enough to claim the finished product is anti-UV. The hat must also have a wide brim and flap which fully protects the face and the back of the neck. The Trek 500 hat meets these requirements so you can go hiking with complete peace of mind: you are perfectly protected!
How is polyamide more resistant?
Polyamide offers excellent abrasion and tear resistance. Moreover, microorganisms and mould don’t trouble the synthetic fibre!
How do you measure a fabric's quick drying capacity?
The product is machine washed 3 times then line dried, then we immerse it in water and measure how long it takes to get back to its pre-wash weight.This hat scored an impressive 5 out of 5 stars, returning to its pre-washed weight in less than 80 minutes!
