I bought this T-shirt because I literally "snapped" my synthetic T-shirts because of the smell of sweat. Well, I'm rather disappointed because the T-shirts remain stained under the armpits and the smell doesn't go away, despite several washes, white vinegar, etc. ...Sorry, but for this criterion, I advise against it.
I have been using a copy purchased in the summer of 2022 for 2 years and it has barely moved, the quality is really great. I bought the same model 2 months ago and the quality is no longer the same at all, it is smaller in size and generally speaking, the lengths have been shortened, all this for €5 more than before. 'era. I am rarely disappointed by Decathlon, but I rather recommend the same one in red or blue which seem to have not suffered any budget cuts. Happy hiking everyone!
This jersey is great as a base layer, I wear it under a sweater every day or a fleece when hiking. I sometimes when it's hot and I take off a layer to wear it alone. Very comfortable T-shirt, but definitely too expensive for me. nevertheless, it is so comfortable that this is my second one.
Pleasant t-shirt to wear but much thinner than a previous model, purchased a few years ago. Very transparent, thin like cigarette paper, probably worn out in a few weeks. And the ecru color is actually a stunning pale yellow.
Excellent product even for everyday life.

Odour control
The component limits perspiration odours. This Merino wool t-shirt can therefore be worn several days in a row and means you can take less clothes when trekking making for a lighter backpack!
Reduction of the freezing effect
When you make a physical effort and sweat heavily, the merino wool easily traps the insulating warm air and can absorb up to 35% of its weight in moisture without making you feel damp, which is appreciable in cool weather. In hot, dry weather, the evaporation of the water in the wool absorbs energy, which cools the body slightly at the same time. Conversely, a synthetic material lets the body temperature go back down again faster.
Tip before use
For a softer feel, wash your t-shirt before first use.
Product testing
We've tested the material in a climate-controlled chamber in order to determine its performance level. The results highlighted the heat-regulation properties of wool. Indeed, after making a physical effort and sweating a lot, wool helps to maintain a consistent body temperature while synthetic fabrics cool down faster. The unpleasant cooling or freezing effect is therefore reduced by the merino wool.
