Bought after recommendation of friends and what pants. These fit really fantastic, nice that you can make shorts for the summer months. Now only used in the winter with thermal pants underneath. Very good pants!
Thick but breathable fabric. Quick drying.

I have been using the black version of the same product for almost 2 years. I use it for hiking, climbing and daily life. It is very comfortable in terms of flexibility and movement. I use it regardless of the season. It has enough pockets. There is a mesh compartment on the inside of the right side pocket. It is a nice detail for me. The belt that comes on it is comfortable and easy to use. The zipper system is better designed in these models. The part from the knee to the ankle makes it easier and faster to take off and put back on. The fact that the ankle parts are adjustable is a nice feature in terms of use.

These trousers have been designed with 3 different components:- a durable fabric (198 g/m2) on the areas that need protection from abrasion (seat, bottom of the leg at the front). This fabric is also stretchy, enabling great freedom of movement;- a light and breathable fabric (145 g/m2) on the rest of the trousers;- a very stretchy insert in the crotch area (15% elastane).

The MT500 2-in-1 trekking trousers are equipped with: - 2 zipped hand pockets;- 2 zipped thigh pockets (and 1 mesh pocket inside the right pocket);- 1 zipped back pocket.The trousers are elasticated at the bottom, so you can adjust them to fit perfectly over your shoes.The trousers are sold with a belt.
How water repellent is the component in the reinforcement zones of the mt500 2-in-1 trousers?
These trousers have water-repellent inserts (front of ankle, buttocks) that let the water slide off the fabric's surface. Please note, this does not mean WATERPROOF.The water repellency prevents the trousers from getting wet too quickly. However, this won’t be enough to keep you dry if you’re in steady rain. To do this, you will need a pair of over-trousers like the MT500 model (ref. 8736465).Water repellency can be reactivated using a reactivating water repellent spray (ref. 8800346).
