Question:
How do you attached the base piece to the board. Is it glued or have a peel back adhesive and can a regular person install this?
Answer:
The fin box needs to be glued to the SUP with a PVC glue, it doesn't have a peel back adhesive. It is not a difficult service but needs to be done respecting the glue instructions and tips to optimize the result.

I have used it for motor and it is very good
I changed it at the decathlon service. After the first day of use it is more k.
I bought it to install on a paddle surf board as a center fin and it works quite well.
Hello, I installed it under a first generation FLTB5 float tube, with a two-component PU 520 glue (not supplied, cost €25 on an online site...,.). It's not complicated, but it requires a minimum of preparation, cleaning, and prior markings, the base itself is the easiest to glue, the flexible cover which comes on top is more difficult to adjust, given that with this contact glue, no readjustment is possible...(Positioned at 2 to be certain of the adjustment) Once fixed, a FLTBX MTR motor was installed, this changes the situation in terms of possible travel distances and rising current or strong wind.....!! At the top, but not recommended for non-DIYers and people in a hurry to finish.....!!🎣😉
