Great !

Great bag for hiking, I needed a really big one to carry all my gear for long hikes, It's comfortable and quite breathable in the back, the frames don't get in the way during walks, and the two holders for water bottles on the sides are ideal for drinking during exercise, easy to access. A great purchase!

I really can hold a lot of things

Highly uncomfortable

For a pack that is designed to carry a high volume of equipment, it should also come with adequate shoulder pads to accomodate to said volume. 30kg of equipment and the shoulder pads digs into my shoulder.

Take everything in one bag

I've been using it for about 10 camps, I don't have a vehicle, I usually hitchhike and travel by bus. I used it in my summer and winter camps. Its volume is great and if you are camping with a lot of equipment like me, it will be more than enough for you. I have nothing to say about its durability, I travel with a lot of stuff and I've never had any problems so far.

Incomparable

I had the opportunity to try the camping for Hasan Mountain Winter Mountaineering in the last week of December 2023, it took all my belongings, you can easily go camping for a few days, it makes you notice that you are very versatile, I used to go with a few items, now only a 100 liter Backpack is enough.

Decathlon products are the best choice

In terms of price-quality ratio, this backpack is the best choice for people who want to travel on a budget. Forclaz is an excellent brand and the quality is perfect. I'm happy with it. Thank you Decathlon! Greetings Jeroen Jongejans

superb bag

Excellent quality bag, obviously not as strong as a military bag but a very substantial carrying volume and extremely pleasant ease of use. The comfort is excellent even if I don't think it will be used to carry heavy stuff but that is not the objective of this bag it seems to me.

Very good

Used on many routes and very good in every way. The only bad thing is its weight, but at this size I see it as inevitable. I am 1.90 m tall, for people who are less than 1.80 m tall, although the height can be adjusted, I would not recommend it. Since it is a very large backpack and if you carry it you have to have the body to hold it.

Weak and poorly designed material

I've had this backpack for a year and have been using it extensively. I've walked more than 4600km with it, but it hasn't been reliable. The first defect I found was in the velcro for adjusting the position of the straps. It was mounted in the opposite direction to the traction force, consequently it came loose easily while walking, which led to an accident. The backpack jumped and made me fall down a ravine. At this point there is already a lot of damage. The belt pads are tearing (the seams are not symmetrical, which leads to skewing of the pads and great discomfort), the padding on the straps is also tearing, the quick-release buckle is broken, the central support points of the straps are being unsewn (the repair is not possible without cutting the water pocket and the lining), the waterproof cover no longer protects anything, the lower corners are tearing due to the friction of fabric on fabric. Unfortunately, I am unable to activate the warranty, as the backpack was purchased outside the country and the brand does not provide assistance unless it is in the same country of purchase. If, like me, you intend to invest in this backpack for a long trip, I don't recommend it.

Excellent bag!

Impeccable bag

A very well designed Forclaz product, apart from a few squeaks during the first treks but nothing to complain about today!

The product is very good

The product is very good, but the shipping takes a little longer

Well thought out backpack but crippling defect.

I have just tested this backpack on an 8-day trek in autonomy, which is the program for this bag. The design is very good in terms of accessibility, number of storage spaces, settings. Obviously for this price which seems very good in this range, the weak point will be at the level of the weight. This type of 90 liter backpack is obviously dedicated to trekking and long independent expeditions. This implies a heavy load of the order of 30kg to 50kg. I read on a label of the bag "designed and tested in Chamonix France" I find it hard to believe that this bag has been tested in the conditions for which it is supposed to have been designed, i.e. carrying heavy loads over long distances. The design flaw is in the belt. The circumference of the belt is too short and the padding much too weak. When you carry for example 30kg, which is very often the case in a 90 liter bag, you carry 2/3 on the hips and therefore on the waist belt. The padded part happens to be very short and very thin, and you very quickly find yourself with the strap tension adjustment ring, in direct contact with the upper thigh when you climb. The rest of the waist belt made up of webbing cuts your stomach during exercise. I'm 173cm tall and 77kg, I dare not imagine a large size of 185cm for 90kg with this bag!: the padded part will then reach him at the tip of the hips and the strap all along the belly, exerting a shearing force on his body equal to 2/3 of the weight of the bag. In short, I am very disappointed. After buying this product with confidence for €170, I don't know what to do with it. I looked at the belt in detail: it is not possible to replace it with another of better quality because it takes up the rigidity of the bag by the two aluminum plates integrated into the bag... I can provide you with the photos taking on me the position of the belt and the adjustment buckles. A photo is often better than a long speech.

Barak on the go

I've had Krosna for the third year now and I'm absolutely satisfied. The amount of adjustment of the straps, back and shoulders is endless and thanks to this it really fits everyone. Well padded and padded. The ability to open the entire front side is very useful, so that you can reach even the lowest places, and I consider the ventilation of the back to be a big advantage.

Composition

Main fabric: 100.0% Polyester ; Lining: 100.0% Polyester ; Yoke: 100.0% Polyamide ; Webbing: 100.0% Polypropylene ; Bag cover: 100.0% Polyester ; Coating: 100.0% Polyurethane

Dimensions

Height : 88 cm Width: 54 cm Depth: 43 cm

Capacity

Extendable volume: 90 L + 10 L extension thanks to the bag’s top flap with adjustable height. The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method. we use small balls to fill the main compartment as well as each pocket. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container in order to determine the equivalent volume in litres, with a margin of error of just a few %.

Bag construction

The assembly of the different parts of this bag has been proven to withstand high tension levels, especially when it is filled or handled. Each element has been designed to guarantee the reliability of the construction: thick front zip (10mm), reinforced seams at the base of the skirt and on the straps.

Symbium technology

The comfort of a backpack lies in its good balance when walking. Symbium technology consists of a jointed waistband that allows the backpack to adapt to the trekker's movements when walking. No more balancing effects that tire out the trekker thanks to the SYMBIUM system.

How to pack a backpack?

Place your sleeping equipment at the bottom of your backpack. Position your water bag in the compartment provided for this purpose. In the back, place the heavy equipment (tent, stove, food) and position your clothes around it. Your tent or groundsheet can also be placed under the flap or under the bag. Keep your waterproof jacket and warm layer within arm’s reach. Place small items for daily use (sun cream, map, glasses etc.) in the pockets...)

Timeless styling

We have selected pigment colours and used clean lines for a timeless style that will be passed down from generation to generation.

Complementary accessories

Compatible with 15L half-moon storage bags.

Product testing

Several laboratory tests have been carried out to test the resistance of the MT900 Symbium backpack. We have therefore undertaken: a Martindale test which evaluates the abrasion resistance of this backpack, an initiated tear test (seams), a fatigue test on the compression of the foams, a test of resistance to rigidity and bending of the aluminium structure (located at the back of the bag).

Storage instructions

Store your bag in a dry and ventilated place, out of the sun.
