I am satisfied with the purchase made, good heat input, good waterproofness. I haven't tried it in the snow.
It's just perfect, warm, you can move in it, comfortable and secure pockets. And indeed, the snow and water roll off and there's not even a drop of water on it. I can recommend a good choice
The jacket was tested for walking at 0° + snowfall. It was super warm! The many pockets are all lined with fleece on the inside and are also super practical! Well equipped with the right boots (SH500 X-Warm Waterproof High snow boots, unfortunately no longer available) from Quechua!
I bought the jacket for my trip to Lapland in January. Unfortunately, I was so cold at the Christmas market when it was 0 degrees that I frantically looked around for a more suitable jacket. How is the undoubtedly beautiful jacket supposed to cope with the polar cold if it can't cope with the local cold. The focus was probably more on waterproofness than on thermal performance. What a shame! Only conditionally recommended. I think it could be enough for winter hiking at home, but please don't stay standing any longer.

Warm, functional and well-fitting winter jacket. It has many pockets. Bought mainly for longer walks with the dog on frosty days. To maintain optimal thermal comfort, just wear a longsleeve underneath. Moreover, the sea color is beautiful. I recommend!
I bought this parka last year, a friend had it in another color, I have the navy blue one with mustard interior, size 3xl, I wanted to be comfortable wearing chunky sweaters underneath. I work outdoors most of the time, canteen surveillance, I needed a jacket that was also waterproof and for extreme cold. It's true that the first times you wear it, it seems heavy but it's a matter of getting used to it, the sleeves don't let the cold in, completely waterproof, you're nice and warm! The hood is adjustable, the fur can be removed, the pockets are comfortable, there are quite a few, I really don't regret this purchase

Can i be sure that my jacket is warm enough for my winter hikes?
We developed your jacket for intense wintry conditions: intense cold, snow, blizzards. The insulation is provided by thick wadding made of a synthetic component that insulates by trapping air in its fibres (double layer on the body and single layer at the arms).We added a long inner flap underneath the zip to stop cold air from entering. The system is supplemented by a drawcord at the hem to make the jacket comfortable down to -20°C.
How does my jacket protect me from outdoor conditions?
Your jacket is designed with a waterproof outer component that keeps out water and wind. To keep you warm in winter you must also protect your extremities (head, hands, feet). The anti-blizzard hood with detachable synthetic fur, wrist sleeves and a rising collar prevent cold infiltration. The high handwarmer pockets with fleece lining are perfect for protecting your hands in a comfortable position.
Waterproofness of this jacket
The waterproofness of a jacket isn’t limited to just its components: the assembly technique of the different parts is also an evaluation criterion.Whether heat-sealed or sewn then waterproofed, the overall waterproofness of your jacket is measured using a shower test developed by Decathlon, which simulates rain of different intensities.As such, this waterproof jacket protects you from a downpour, i.e. 12 cm of rain in 2 hours.
Component waterproofing of this jacket
The waterproofness of a fabric, provided by a coating or membrane, is measured in Schmerber or mm H²0 (pressure exerted by a column of water). The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric. This jacket has a waterproof component (JIS 1092 standard) resistant to 15 000 mm H²0 (Schmerber) before washing.
Water often gets in through the seams. does my jacket have waterproof seams?
Your jacket is waterproof thanks to its taped main seams. Waterproof tape is added to the seams inside the garment to make them watertight so that water cannot enter through the more vulnerable areas.We validated the waterproofing with a shower test specially designed to replicate the conditions of a two-hour shower. We also wore it in the field in all weather conditions to make sure that it is suited to your activities.
A practical jacket with smart details
Practical and smart details: 2 hand warmer pockets, 2 outside pockets with flap, 1 secure inside pocket, 2 inside mesh pockets to have everything close at hand. The main zip has a long zipper pull and press studs and thumb pass so you can open or close your jacket while keeping your hands tightly snug in your gloves. The 2 easy zips at the bottom of the jacket allow you to bend or sit down comfortably.

How to preserve the technical qualities of my jacket?
A fabric's water repellent property is its capacity to make water run off its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm and breathable. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment's lifespan (recommended after each wash). Products (spray or liquid) for this purpose are available in our stores.
