choose an extra size to have your hands well covered in extreme cold, soft, comfortable, warm, you can only wear a short-sleeved t-shirt if it's not too cold, I use it for the city & for long walks with my dogs @ the ocean or @ the countryside the hood protects very well from the wind it's the best for winter happy to have received it in kdo for Christmas! size small
Beautiful coat and very warm.
I Have brought this jacket around 7000/- in India. Now I am using in canada since last 5 months. This is a good product and good for canadian weather to control snow ,water,coolness
May not be functional given it's too heavy , especially if one got to walk distance

Really heavy but warm and practical coat with several internal pockets
Effective. Comfortable to wear. Easy adjustment of the hood but still quite large air intake in high winds. As the sleeves are long to limit snow entry, wearing mittens or gloves with large brims is difficult.

A MEGA nice jacket, it works well in the mountains, it's very warm.
very good product. The only downside is that the parka gets dirty very quickly. 5 days of use and it is already quite dirty. for me the problem is the color but there was no more black and I had to leave in the total cold so... it does its job very well but it gets dirty quickly
This jacket is perfect for me. I get cold easily but this jacket keeps me warm.
I used the Parka this winter while working outdoors in Canada. It resists very well in -20/-25°C with technical underwear and a fleece underneath.

Can i be sure that my jacket is warm enough for my winter hikes?
We developed your jacket for intense wintry conditions: intense cold, snow, blizzards. The insulation is provided by thick wadding made of a synthetic component that insulates by trapping air in its fibres (double layer on the body and single layer at the arms).We added a long inner flap underneath the zip to stop cold air from entering. The system is supplemented by a drawcord at the hem to make the jacket comfortable down to -20°C.
How does my jacket protect me from outdoor conditions?
Your jacket is designed with a waterproof outer component that keeps out water and wind. To keep you warm in winter you must also protect your extremities (head, hands, feet). The anti-blizzard hood with detachable synthetic fur, wrist sleeves and a rising collar prevent cold infiltration. The high handwarmer pockets with fleece lining are perfect for protecting your hands in a comfortable position.
Waterproofness of this jacket
The waterproofness of a jacket isn’t limited to just its components: the assembly technique of the different parts is also an evaluation criterion.Whether heat-sealed or sewn then waterproofed, the overall waterproofness of your jacket is measured using a shower test developed by Decathlon, which simulates rain of different intensities.As such, this waterproof jacket protects you from a downpour, i.e. 12 cm of rain in 2 hours.
Component waterproofing of this jacket
The waterproofness of a fabric, provided by a coating or membrane, is measured in Schmerber or mm H²0 (pressure exerted by a column of water). The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric. This jacket has a waterproof component (JIS 1092 standard) resistant to 15 000 mm H²0 (Schmerber) before washing.
Water often gets in through the seams. does my jacket have waterproof seams?
Your jacket is waterproof thanks to its taped main seams. Waterproof tape is added to the seams inside the garment to make them watertight so that water cannot enter through the more vulnerable areas.We validated the waterproofing with a shower test specially designed to replicate the conditions of a two-hour shower. We also wore it in the field in all weather conditions to make sure that it is suited to your activities.
A practical jacket with smart details
Practical and smart details: 2 hand warmer pockets, 2 outside pockets with flap, 1 secure inside pocket, 2 inside mesh pockets to have everything close at hand. The main zip has a long zipper pull and press studs and thumb pass so you can open or close your jacket while keeping your hands tightly snug in your gloves. The 2 easy zips at the bottom of the jacket allow you to bend or sit down comfortably.

To ensure the durability of our products, we perform tests on the selected components: resistance to rubbing and abrasion, colour fastness, resistance to repeated washing. All these tests have been carried out on the component on your jacket.
How to preserve the technical qualities of my jacket?
A fabric's water repellent property is its capacity to make water run off its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm and breathable. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment's lifespan (recommended after each wash). Products (spray or liquid) for this purpose are available in our stores.
