Great value for money
The transmission adjustment is not great and almost impossible to fine-tune, I then changed the chainring to 34 teeth. The rear brake whistles constantly when used (really loud), and in general is pleasant but lacks power during heavy braking (I weigh 60kg). The bike performs very well technically and only requires a good pair of tires to push the limits. I was afraid for the fork but with the original brake I can't reach the limits of its rigidity, the rear suspension does the job but the preload dial doesn't really change the feeling. In short, it's an incredible bike for beginners and a good base for experienced riders. You can easily make him lose 1kg for a few extra euros.

I've had this rockrider am 50 s for 5 months, I've used it very regularly since then and I find it excellent! The suspensions are easy to adjust and do their job very well. The brakes lack a little power but it's sufficient (except for people who engage more than me). The 29 wheels are a real asset and the telescopic seat post is life-changing. However, the tires are really not great and the derailleur housing passage needs to be reviewed. It often goes wrong and it's painful. Aside from that, the bike has great value for money. I highly recommend it for those who want a big machine for a small price.

I use it for very bumpy enduro routes and I must say that with a pair of bigger tires it travels great

Great product
The bike rides really well. I had some small problems with the brakes as soon as I picked it up but worse after I took it to be fixed. I even had to go to another center to use it. The gearbox has some small indecision in shifting but I read that this is also the case for bikes from other brands. In summary, good bike, but terrible assistance.
Very good value for money, convenient descent without worries, even the tires grip well. I recommend.

How this mtb was designed
Entirely designed and developed in France at the B'Twin Village (Lille), this mountain bike is the fruit of the work of a team of experts and passionate all-mountain bikers who test the products in the Vosges and the Alps. The Rockrider team designed and tested this AM Fifty_S All-Mountain bike together with their MTB testers. The AM Fifty_S is assembled at our own factory in Lille, just steps away from the bike design team.

Brakes
SRAM Level brakes: The dual-piston brake caliper performs perfectly for all-mountain beginners and is a safe bet. 180 mm front disc, 160 mm rear disc.
Saddle and seat post
The RockRider XC/AM saddle has an Ergofit system for greater comfort while pedaling.The height of the dropper seat post can be adjusted using the control on the bike's handlebar: 120 mm of travel in size S/M and 150 mm in L/XL. The ability to lower the saddle in a second with a single press of the thumb is a real advantage in all-mountain biking. Feel at ease (and relaxed!) in your seating position on the bike during technical descents.
