Questions & Answers

I want to swap the front chainring on my Tirban GRVL120. What is the direct mount standard used there? I need to order online, but can't find any info on which chainring I need to get.

Its a single chainring Microship 38tooth ring H100 10 speed system currently. All Microshift cranks use a 24mm spline, so you can replace the crank set with another system with 24mm or change the bottom bracket and use any crank you like.

Excellent product quality/price

Perfect bike for my rides

Excellent bike Price quality. It's certainly not one of the professional ones and they actually could have taken a little more care with the bottom bracket and the gearbox but for what you need to do with it, i.e. 3 weekly rides, Home Work, and more it's fine.

Good quality bike for an average rider Very aesthetic with its "army green" color + nice finishes throughout Pleasant on the road and path with little bumps The saddle is better than I thought, which does not prevent us from planning a complement for long outings

Horrible tires, need to be reviewed urgently

After more than 6 months of use, I can say that this bike has two main faults, which ruin the experience, the tires are terrible, they end up in Swiss cheese after a while, I sometimes have 4- 5 punctures per week, yet I don't use it on rough terrain! The tires really need to be changed, punctures become a nightmare when riding this bike! Added to this, the brakes are not of good quality, they go out of adjustment quickly, and despite visits to decathlon workshops, the adjustment is never optimal, the fact of having to take out the tires and put them back in after countless punctures accelerates even more so the brake adjustment!

Fits well

My first gravel bike. I am very pleased. Good gear ratio even on steep climbs up the mountain.

For starters and for those who are already more or less experienced, it's fine. I'm already thinking about raising the bar for an electric GRVL, obviously the price goes up a lot, but so does the fun and certainly many more mountain routes🤙happy riding everyone.

Unreliable components

The Promax brakes and the microshift group are of very poor quality. The brakes jump as soon as they are incorrectly adjusted, extremely dangerous! The brake lever broke after two years - one month after the end of the warranty, mandatory replacement.

Sincere, reliable Gravel, without unnecessary frills

The bike is really well made; we could discuss the equipment, but gentlemen, no one, apart from professionals, needs to spend amounts close to those of professional bikes.......let's face it, if they paid, I would really like to see their bikes! However, for my less than amateur outings, this one is excellent and easy to repair if it breaks down while racing.....

Top bike.

I bought the bike at 1.94m in size XL. had to raise the saddle to its final position and move it back a little. This makes me sit very comfortably on the bike. It's best to try it out in the store first. There are other bikes in the store with the same frame and therefore the same geometry. For the price, it's a really great bike for beginners and those on a budget. However, I swapped the brakes for others (the top dog among mechanical disc brakes, I don't want to advertise it now). The brakes supplied also brought me to a stop reliably, but unfortunately they only have one piston pressing the brake disc against a rigid piston. I don't know how good that is for the record in the long run. I then swapped for a brake with 2 movable pistons. Apart from the small downer with the brakes, the bike is highly recommended. The color looks 10x better in real life.

I'm happy to…

I am happy with my purchase, however there is a problem with the derailleur with poor reassembly of the gear change pad on the handlebars, a little disappointed because dirt can get into the mechanism. Being an hour from the nearest decathlon I haven't yet been able to bring it back to have it modified, not to mention the travel costs, especially if they can't do it for me straight away, it requires me to make two trips. Just a little disappointed to have bought a new bike where there is a reassembly fault.

Not up to par

Positive points: - riding comfort - bike rather light and responsive Negative points: - brakes too light - a VERY poor quality derailleur The derailleur is really very bad, when you try to go up a gear it sometimes shifts to 2 or more 3 (I'm talking about the trigger to go towards the small gears, the other hiding place, that's normal). Obviously this problem would be recurring. Or quite simply, the chain jumps when you pedal too hard. I use this bike occasionally for outings with my daughters. I don't recommend.

Good bike

I made a very good purchase, 100% recommended

A nice bike at first glance but which quickly shows the full extent of the mediocrity of these finishes... in the first two months I had to change both inner tubes (front and rear) for punctures... at the end of 3-4 months, the brakes failed, a wheel spoke too... and now, it's been a little over a month since the bike left the workshop for a complete "check-up" and I have problems again. braking problems and today the chain no longer even drives the rear wheel, I pedal in a vacuum and nothing advances... in short, do not buy this bike, the finishes and the material it is made of equipped will not last long and repair costs will be expected quickly... Too bad, I was very satisfied at the beginning, the bike itself is pleasant to use but here I am now very disappointed.

Very good Gravel for work and the weekend

Great bike for commuting to work and weekend rides. The only negative point is the gear change, sometimes the largest sprocket causes a derailment...

adjusting the brakes...

the adjustment of the brakes and derailleur needs to be reviewed. Median speeds are cracking
