Easily replaced the rear wheel of my Lapierre 29" mountain bike, same cassette, same tire. The rim seems almost identical. I just regret that the hub is not a Shimano. The wheel has a very slight runout but it remains acceptable. However, the rim tape is present, there is no need to purchase one separately as indicated on the site
