Favorite California slopes
Snowboard at Boreal
Boreal is a great mountain for beginner and intermediate riders who are focused on their progression. Boreal has an indoor training facility called Woodward Tahoe, which is a great place for riders to learn how to do tricks such as a backflip for the first time.
Snowboard at NorthStar
NorthStar is the go-to mountain for any snowboarder. With 20 lifts and 100 trails, NorthStar offers great riding to any snowboarder. Its terrain parks and backcountry offer endless opportunities to freestyle or freeride boarders.
Snowboard at Mt. Rose
Mt. Rose is the go-to place for riders hunting for fresh powder. It's one of the most-elevated resorts in the Tahoe area, which makes it my choice when I’m in desperate need of some powder. Mt. Rose offers the best riding for freeride enthusiasts.
My favorite app for snowboarding is Trace Snow. Trace Snow is a comprehensive app for tracking your snowboard data. The app covers distance, speed, routes and elevation as basics.
But Trace Snow also tracks calories burned, verticals and airtime, as well as how much of your day you spent on the chairlift.
Access your stats on the slope, or go to snow.traceup.com to see your progress throughout the season and share your stats on Facebook.
