Very difficult to cut. Did not manage to do it with quality pliers which nevertheless cut a brake cable without problem. I eventually had to use my grinder and then my drill to remove the melted plastic with a small drill bit. Once installed the derailleur works flawlessly...
Changing gears is easier
Good product, I have been able to trim it with no difficulty, which indicates that the product offers good protection.
It goes well mounted on racing bikes with shimano 11v groupset

The packaging gives too pronounced a curvature to the sheath which has great difficulty returning to its "natural" curvature. This hampers the smooth sliding of the cables and therefore the proper functioning of the derailleur.
