A bit shorter than I'd like it to be for the size, I'd hope for an extra 5-10cm or so just to go past the hip bones. My sons loves it and won't wear anything else. Great value for money

Cheap and cheerful but not made to last. Considering how cheap these fleeces are,they are good value. Don’t expect them to last more than a couple of washes.

The mission of the fleece component is to trap air via the volume created by its texture (and the brushing of the knit). This air acts as a natural insulator, keeping the body warm.
Our environmental approach: recycled polyester
By using recycled polyester, no new petroleum-based resources are used. The waste is recycled into resources that can be used again.
Component durability
We conduct numerous laboratory tests to validate the highest standards in terms of durability: a resistance test to abrasion and friction to ensure that the fleece does not pill, a colorfastness test to check the behavior and resistance of the colors, and an aging test to check that repeated washing does not alter the properties of the fabric, its behavior, its thickness, or its appearance.
Product design: our expertise
Our Quechua global design center is based in Passy, at the foot of Mont-Blanc in Haute Savoie. This location makes it a real meeting place for our teams (designers, product managers, engineers, etc.) and outdoor sports enthusiasts. A great asset for designing our hiking products and providing you with all our expertise.
Determining the environmental impact of our products
A product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire lifecycle using various indicators. A score from A to E is produced to help you make a responsible choice. This rating is used to easily identify the products with the best environmental performance. This is done by making a comparison between products of the same family (e.g. backpacks). Decathlon is a voluntary supporter of this environmentally-friendly labeling approach.

We carry out 2 types of thermal testing: - either a test of the material of our fleeces. - or on a thermal mannequin in a thermal chamber. In our testing chambers, we reproduce the conditions of temperature, wind (3 mph), and humidity that you would encounter in the mountains walking at 3 mph. These tests allow us to validate our design choices. So we can adapt our thermal insulation where you most need it.
