Very disappointed with the experience

Pants slightly torn on the back after a fall while ski touring on my first outing. Ventilation zips without mesh are annoying when opened to the maximum. I am especially very disappointed with the resistance because the seller told me that they were the most resistant pants... Moreover, at the after-sales service level, I was redirected to the repair and I was informed of the cost of 100€ to find the tightness. My friends present during the outing who experienced similar falls recommended the Simond pants to me, otherwise, given the resistance, I might as well buy cheap disposables.

Tested at We SnowBoard school,. As a snowboard instructor, I spend more or less 120 days a year on the slopes. The pants are comfortable, waterproof and solid. Not one closure has been damaged with daily use for 4 months. By adapting the layer of the first layer, these pants provide waterproofing and breathability for all conditions.

Free ride track hiking pants

Good pants with a few downsides. The belly pocket not long enough. The elastic at the bottom of the leg is not long enough for tall people. In cold weather, pants not windproof enough. Top waterproofing, top cut and top accessories.

I haven't tested it enough yet to give an accurate opinion. So far I am satisfied.

Nice pants, fits the jacket and easy to use

Lots of room to move in the pants, sometimes creeps up a bit but not very annoying. Easy to put on and take off

a bit small for...

a little small for me... the waist circumference is always smaller than the belly circumference from a certain age

Top unfortunately fragile

Purchased last season, the lining is peeling off inside and the seam under the zipper at the crotch is uncovered. Brought back to the store today for repair, to see. Used only in ski touring, incredible that it is already falling apart so it is supposed to be top quality at Decathlon. Very disappointed. It does not make you want to buy expensive products at Decathlon.

They could be the perfect pants

Details and quality materials. Good straps, good ventral area for a perfect fit, good sealed pockets... Up to the knee the pants are perfect, flattering, comfortable and a great alternative to pants that are x3, x4 or x5 times more expensive. What invalidates them for me are from the knee down: a very wide leg (too wide) without any type of adjustment with velcro (or whatever system), excessive length for the size and a very hard material that makes the shape be very strange, like a rigid cylinder. If I could modify them I would have two pairs, because there is nothing remotely similar for this price on the market.

Good but too light

Good cut, good protection, fairly large pockets. On the other hand, the fabric is much too light to consider that it lasts more than one season. First day of ski torn on a forest passage. It's not a 3 layer only an induction. Everything has a price...

I am very disappointed.…

I am very disappointed. I bought these pants relying on the technical description published on your site, mentioning impermeability to 20,000 Schmerber. but what's written inside the pants is 15,000 Schmerber. So I'm very disappointed, it's not waterproof enough for my raids. Ski Mountaineering is not on your list

Great pants...

Great ski pants. Attention, there is no warm layer, you must choose according to the season an underlayer adapted to the outside temperature.

Our team of designers is based at the foot of the Mont-Blanc, near many ski resorts in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, we create and develop products that are simple and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field, because we believe that the only way to continuously improve our products is to test them under the real-life conditions that you will experience in use.
